Congratulations on a large interdisciplinary effort that is pushing the boundaries of dental science through Multiscale mechanics of biological tissues in intact joints – soon to be published in Journal of Dental Research titled "Chewing-activated TRPV4/PIEZO1-HIF-1α-Zn axes in a rat periodontal complex".

Also to note are the triumphant efforts of Brandon Lee, Zhiyuan Yang, and Tiffany Ho – undergraduates from UC Berkeley and have rotated through the Program in Biomineralization Sciences (PiBiomS) that have made their mark in the scientific arena through this first publication.
