Nam Nguyen (2nd year dental student), a member of our team in Biomechanics is selected as a finalist in the Growth and Development Research Award competition by Orthodontics Research Group of IADR to be held virtually during the 2022 IADR/APR General Session, June 2022.

Two manuscripts on the changes in biomechanics and mechanobiology of the dentoalveolar fibrous joints insulted by LPS-endotoxins and orthodontic forces are accepted for publication in the Journal of Periodontal Research. 

Congratulations to Bo, Putu, Caleb and Sudarshan et al., on a successful submission of "Functional adaptation of LPS-affected dentoalveolar fibrous joints in rats" to the Journal of Periodontal Research.

Dr. Wang is a mechanical engineer and trained at the Ho lab on Biomechanics and Biomineralization on how to apply mechanical engineering principles to investigate the effect of form on function of the dentoalveolar joint. He is well on his way to start his own academic path. We look forward to...
